MIN[JTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEl~IBER 9 ~ 1994 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution deolared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-11-385 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />OCTOBER 26, 1994 CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Pedersen, LaValle, Hanson, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS Mayor Hanson proclaimed the week of November 11 through <br />18, 1994 as Minnesota Chemical Health Week in the City <br />of Little Canada. <br />Hanson commended the recent candidates who sought <br />elected office for the speedy removal of campaign <br />signs. <br />Hanson congratulated Council Members Scalze and LaValle <br />on their re-election to office as well as congratulated <br />former Mayor Fahey on his election to the Office of <br />Mayor. <br />Morelan congratulated Precinct 2 which had the highest <br />voter turn-out of the City's three precincts. Morelan <br />also thanked the City staff and election judges for the <br />many hours they put in on election day. <br />The City Administrator commended the election judges <br />for the good job that they did in expediting the <br />election process. <br />VACATION The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the <br />HEARING - vacation of a drainage and utility easement abutting <br />SCHLETTY the southwesterly property lines o,f Lot 2, Block 2, <br />Frederickshaven Second Addition. It was noted that the <br />property lines are being adjusted to make the lot <br />larger, therefore, the drainage and utility easement <br />abutting the current property lines needs to be <br />vacated. <br />2 <br />
