MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVENIBER 9, 1994 <br />The Administrator reported that the City already has <br />such a fund, and the resolution is merely a formality <br />to meet grant requirements. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-11-401 - ESTABLISIIING A SEPARATE <br />ACCOUNT FOR CABLE FRANCHISE FEES AND SPECIFYING THAT <br />THE FUNDS IN THIS ACCOUNT MAY ONLY BE USED FOR CABLE- <br />RELATED ACTIVITIES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LANDLORD Hanson reported that a meeting of the Landlords' <br />COALITION Coalition will be held at City I-Iall on Tuesday, <br />December 6th at 5 P.M. This meeting will consist of <br />the owners and managers of multiple-family units and <br />mobile home parks within the City to discuss formation <br />of a Coalition and goals and objectives which the <br />Coalition can achieve. <br />FENCES Morelan recommended that the City's ordinance with <br />regard to screening requirements for commercial fences <br />abutting residential property needs to be addressed to <br />require better screening. Morelan did not feel that <br />slats in a chain-link fence provided adequate screeninq <br />of commercial uses from residential. <br />It was the consensus of the Council that the City <br />Planner be asked to make a recommendation in this <br />regard. <br />NEIGHBORIi00D The City Administrator outlined the following schedule <br />MEETINGS of neighborhood meetings which staff will be <br />conducting: <br />*Monday, November 21st, 6:30 P.M. - Viking Drive <br />East of Edgerton to discuss water main and <br />street improvements; <br />*Monday, November 21st, 7:30 P.M. - Australian/ <br />Bluwood to discuss street connection/cul-de-sac <br />options; <br />24 <br />
