MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEI~SBER 9, 1994 <br />board of the cities in the Watershed, an independent <br />non-profit group, an advisory board to an existing <br />organization, or a combination of these. <br />Scalze asked where the Committee is with Public Works' <br />issues such as more frequent sweeping of streets and <br />labeling of storm sewer drains. <br />Buss reported that it is anticipated that the labeling <br />of storm sewer drains will be completed next year. <br />Buss also stated that the Committee would be willing to <br />discuss and make a recommendation on issues such as <br />street sweeping. Buss indicated that there have been <br />some requests for review of development proposals to <br />provide input on issues such as storm water management <br />and plantings. <br />Scalze asked if there was a charge for these services. <br />Buss reported that costs are covered by the McKnight <br />Foundation Grant which currently funds the project. <br />Technical expertise is provided by the Watershed. Buss <br />anticipated that the McKnight Foundation would continue <br />to support the project for the next 3 to 4 years.
