MINi1TES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVII~SBII2 23, 1994 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-11-405 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />NOVEMBER 9, 1994 CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Aanson, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCFMENTS On behalf of the City Council and Staff, Mayor Hanson <br />wished the viewing audience a Happy Thanksgiving. <br />Hanson also noted that City offices would be closed on <br />Friday, November 25th. <br />PROPERTY Council reviewed the property division requested by <br />DIVISION - Eileen Jansen to divide 10 feet of property from 209 <br />209 DEMONT - East Demont Avenue and combine that footage with the <br />JANSEN adjacent lot. The Mayor pointed out that the City <br />Planner has indicated in his report that this will take <br />care of some non-conformity issues on the adjacent <br />property for both property width and setback. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-11-406 - APPROVING THE DIVISION OF 10 <br />FEET FROM 209 EAST DEMONT AVENUE AS REQUESTED BY EILEEN <br />JANSEN WITH THE COMBINATION OF THAT FOOTAGE WITH THE <br />ADJACENT LOT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Pedersen, Hanson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONDITIONAL The City Administrator reported that he has contacted <br />USE PERMIT - Mr. Jackson regarding Mr. McCumber's letter of November <br />ARCADE 7, 1994 regarding screening of his outdoor storage <br />ELECTRIC fence from the Jackson property. Mr. Jackson indicated <br />that the Conditional Use Permit for special purpose <br />fence with barbed wire would be acceptable to him <br />provided that Mr. McCUmber purchases the plant <br />materials to screen the fence. <br />Morelan suggested that the CUP be approved contingent <br />upon the plantings being installed. It was suggested <br />that a June 1, 1995 deadline be established for <br />installation of those plantings. <br />2 <br />
