MINU'PES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECENIBER 21, 1994 <br />COMMISSION Scalze noted that Wehrle has served for 7 or 8 years on <br />the Commission and in his second year was appointed <br />Chair and has served as such ever since. Scalze stated <br />that Wehrle has done a super job and has always gone <br />above and beyond the call of duty. <br />Aanson noted that the City received five applications <br />for the one vacancy on the Park & Recreation <br />Commission. These applicants are Colleen Doolittle, <br />Steve Goeritz, Tyrone Guzman, Craig Larson, and Donald <br />Scott. By ballot of the Council, four votes were cast <br />for Colleen Doolittle, and one for Tyrone Guzman. <br />Therefore, Colleen Doolittle was appointed to a three- <br />year term on the Park & Recreation Commission beginning <br />January, 1995. <br />RECOGNITION The Park & Recreation Director presented a report to <br />OF SUPPORT the Council outlininq the on-going support that the <br />FROM LCRA Little Canada Recreation Association provides to the <br />City's recreation programs. During 1994, the LCRA <br />donated over $13,500 towards the program as well as on- <br />going input and advice from its membership. The <br />Director thanked the LCRA for their valuable <br />contribution to the City. <br />APPOINTMENT Hanson reported that the terms of Gene DeLonais and <br />TO THE Dennis Carson on the Planning Commission expire at <br />PLANNING the end of this year. The City has received <br />COMMISSION letters from DeLonais and Carson requesting <br />reappointment to the Commission as well as a letter <br />from Donald Scott seeking appointment. The Council <br />cast a ballot with five votes for DeLonais, four votes <br />for Carson, and one vote for Scott. Therefore, Gene <br />DeLonais and Dennis Carson were appointed to three-year <br />terms on the Planning Commission beginning January, <br />1995. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-12-441 - ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
