MINU'PES CITY COUNCIL DECENIBER 21, 1994 COMMISSION Scalze noted that Wehrle has served for 7 or 8 years on the Commission and in his second year was appointed Chair and has served as such ever since. Scalze stated that Wehrle has done a super job and has always gone above and beyond the call of duty. Aanson noted that the City received five applications for the one vacancy on the Park & Recreation Commission. These applicants are Colleen Doolittle, Steve Goeritz, Tyrone Guzman, Craig Larson, and Donald Scott. By ballot of the Council, four votes were cast for Colleen Doolittle, and one for Tyrone Guzman. Therefore, Colleen Doolittle was appointed to a three- year term on the Park & Recreation Commission beginning January, 1995. RECOGNITION The Park & Recreation Director presented a report to OF SUPPORT the Council outlininq the on-going support that the FROM LCRA Little Canada Recreation Association provides to the City's recreation programs. During 1994, the LCRA donated over $13,500 towards the program as well as on- going input and advice from its membership. The Director thanked the LCRA for their valuable contribution to the City. APPOINTMENT Hanson reported that the terms of Gene DeLonais and TO THE Dennis Carson on the Planning Commission expire at PLANNING the end of this year. The City has received COMMISSION letters from DeLonais and Carson requesting reappointment to the Commission as well as a letter from Donald Scott seeking appointment. The Council cast a ballot with five votes for DeLonais, four votes for Carson, and one vote for Scott. Therefore, Gene DeLonais and Dennis Carson were appointed to three-year terms on the Planning Commission beginning January, 1995. ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 94-12-441 - ADJOURNING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Hanson, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 38
