MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 21, 1994 <br />Scalze felt the cobblestone entry area was a nice <br />amenity for the project. <br />Morelan asked if easements would be dedicated so that <br />utilities could be maintained. <br />Howe replied that this was correct. <br />There was no one else from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Morelan asked if there were other developments in the <br />City where private streets existed. <br />LaValle pointed out that there are private streets in <br />Round Lake Estates, Aeather oaks, and Canabury <br />Townhomes to name some. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 94-12-422 - APPROVING THE REZONING FROM <br />R-1 TO R-2 OF PROPERTIES ALONG MINNESOTA AVENUE AS <br />REQUESTED BY GORDIE HOWE OF MASTERPIECE HOMES AS WELL <br />AS TI-IE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF COBBLESTONE VILLAGE SUBJECT <br />TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Hanson, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LICENSE Hanson opened the public hearing to consider the <br />RENEWAL - renewal of Pawn Shop License and Second Hand Goods <br />LINCOIN Dealer License for Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry at 2750 <br />PAWN & Rice Street. <br />JEWELRY <br />Morelan noted that the report from the Sheriff's <br />Department mentions that there was a minor problem with <br />the receipt of stolen goods at the pawn shop. <br />Mr. Charles Wedemeyer, Lincoln Pawn, reported that the <br />pawn shop does receive some stolen goods.
