MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 25, 1995 <br />1995 LEGAL The Administrative Assistant reported that the <br />NEWSPAPER deadline for the Little Canada Press has been extended <br />until Friday's at 8 A.M. provided that staff informs <br />the Press on Thursday mornings that a notice would be <br />coming. The Roseville Review has extended their <br />deadline until 10 A.M. on Monday's and have agreed to <br />match the price quoted by the Little Canada Press. <br />Morelan stated that he understood staff's preference <br />for the later deadline, but suggested that the Little <br />Canada Press be appointed as the City's legal newspaper <br />given that residents are used to looking at the Press <br />for the City's legal notices. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-1-32 - APPOINTING THE LITTLE CANADA <br />PRESS AS THE CITY~S LEGAL NEWSPAPER FOR 1995 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />1995 Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />INSURANCE moved its adoption: <br />RENEWALS <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-1-33 - APPROVING THE 1995 INSURANCE <br />RENEWALS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />GATEWAY Mr. Gary Collyard appeared before the Council and <br />PROJECT reported that the subcommittee of the Council met on <br />Friday, January 20th, with anchor tenants interested in <br />the Gateway Project. The tenants informed the <br />subcommittee of their interest in locating in the area. <br />Collyard reported that he is talking with an architect <br />and the tenants about the project and working on the <br />concept plan. Collyard is also working with the <br />investors as to financial commitments, and will submit <br />the investor pool list to the City in a confidential <br />manner. <br />27 <br />
