Auge reported that the County would be using the centerline of the existing pavement and working from their. The County does not want to get into the bank too much or do any filling on the lakeside. Some telephone poles will be relocated as part of the project. Bill Knutson, Maplewood resident, reported that he and his neighbor video-taped a presentation for the Maplewood City Council showing how the road improvement would fit int the area, and in doing so found that existing trees can be preserved.
