Resolution declared adopted. <br />GAMBLING Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />ENFORCEMENT moved its adoption: <br />TAX <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-3-74 - DECREASING THE 3% GAMBLING <br />ENFORCEMENT TAX TO 1% EFFECTIVE WITII FEBRUARY REPORTS <br />BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RICE STREET/ Fahey reported that the Council held a workshop on <br />LITTLE CANADA Monday, March 6th, at which a proposal was submitted <br />ROAD by Ehlers & Associates, Maxfield Research Group, and <br />REDEVELOPMENT Hoisington Koegler Group to put together a concept <br />PROJECT work program for the Rice Street/Little Canada Road <br />area. This work program includes components addressing <br />design, market analysis, and financing. Fahey <br />indicated that the consensus of the Council is to move <br />forward and retain these services. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-3-75 - APPROVING THE CONCEPT OF THE <br />WORK PROGRAM PROPOSAL FOR THE RICE STREET/LITTLE CANADA <br />ROAD AREA AS PRESENTED BY EHLERS & ASSOCIATES, MAXFIELD <br />RESEARCH GROUP, AND HOISINGTON KOEGLER GROUP AND <br />REQUESTING THAT THE GROUP SUBMIT A FORMAL PROPOSAL <br />INCLUDING HOURLY RATES AND TIMETABLE FOR ANTICIPATED <br />COMPLETION AT TIIE NEXT REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
