MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 24, 1995 ZONING CODE OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, RELATING TO THE APPROVA7~ OF BUILDING PLANS IN AN INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: ORDINANCE N0. 412 - AMENDING SECTIONS 301.030.(A), 301.030.(E), AND 501.030 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RELATING TO THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE ADOPTION The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. RENEWAL OF Mr. Michael Triggs, TCF, appeared before the Council BINGO HALL requestinq renewal of the bingo hall license for The LICENSE Market Place Shopping Center. LaValle asked if the shopping center becomes part of a redevelopment project if renewal of the license at this time will have any negative impact on the City. The City Attorney replied that if condemnation proceedinqs are necessary, the bingo hall license adds value to the property, which the City would end up paying for. It was pointed out that the bingo hall license is a one-year license. Morelan asked if the City had the option of renewing the license for less than a one-year period. The City Attorney stated that he was not aware of such an option, pointing out that actual renewal is done by the State. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-5-137 - APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF BINGO HALL LICENSE AS REQUESTED BY TCF FOR THE MARKET PLACE SHOPPING CENTER FOR LICENSE PERIOD SEPTEMBER 1~ 1995 THROUGH AUGUST 30, 1996 SUBJECT TO RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT BACKGROUND CHECKS 6
