MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 13~ 1995 <br />JACKSON <br />HEIGHTS <br />LETTER OF <br />CREDIT <br />wetland area. <br />The City Administrator pointed out the PUD designation <br />will provide the City with development review <br />opportunities. <br />Scalze suggested public hearings be called to consider <br />the rezoning of this property. <br />Fahey indicated in looking at the Comp Plan, it shows <br />most of the other properties in the area as Industrial <br />property. Fahey asked if the City could rezone a site <br />to PUD with either a Business or I-P designation. <br />Fahey stated it was not his understanding that the <br />Planning Commission saw the Rice Street site as only <br />business development. <br />Morelan stated that the Planning Commission felt <br />because of the topography, there was not a lot of <br />buildable area on the Rice Street site. <br />The Administrator stated that he would have to check <br />with the City Planner to determine whether a property <br />zoned PUD could have two different land use <br />designations. The Administrator noted that the PUD <br />zoning does give the City optimum flexibility. <br />The City Attorney asked for <br />review the Zoning Code with <br />underlying land use issue. <br />a few minutes so he could <br />regard to the PUD zone and <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 95-6-153 - RELEASING TIIE HERITAGE <br />DEVELOPMENT LETTER OF CREDIT FOR ROAD CONNECTION FROM <br />JACKSON HEIGHTS TO THE INDUSTRIAL PARK TO THE NORTH <br />BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />AND CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ECONOMIC The City Administrator reported that he met with <br />DEVELOPMENT Gary Collyard regarding a development proposal that Mr. <br />Collyard is working on. Details of that proposal are <br />very preliminary, and the Administrator informed Mr. <br />Collyard that the City would react to a proposal should <br />12 <br />
