MINUTES OF THE REGUI~R MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA 13, 1995 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of September, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael Fahey chaired and called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. and the followinq members of the Council were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer MINOTES Morelan recommended that the August 31st workshop meeting minutes be clarified with regard to the high rating the Fire Department received in the Community Survey. The following statement should be added, "which Morris classified as exemplary, and the highest rating he has ever encountered for a fire department in his surveys". Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-9-202 - APPROVING THE FOLLOWING CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES: AUGUST 22, 1995 SPECIAL MEETING AS SUBMITTED~ AUGUST 23, 1995 REGULAR MEETING AS SUBMITTED; AUGUST 31, 1995 WORKSHOP MEETING AS CORRECTED. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNOUNCEMENTS Mayor Fahey proclaimed Saturday and Sunday, September 9 and 10, 1995 as Little Canada Volunteer Fire Fighter Days in appreciation to all past and present members of the Fire Department and their spouses for 50 years of superlative community service. 1
