Novak again asked the matter be tabled until the next meeting so he can have his attorney present. Fahey asked Leibel when he proposes to construct the garage. Leibel replied that he would be putting the slab down this year and construction of the garage would occur next year. Leibel asked that the Council act on the matter this evening. Fahey stated that he would respect the Novak's desire to come back, and pointed out that a two week delay will not be a detriment to the Leibel~s. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-9-203 - TABLING ACTION ON THE LEIBEL REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SECOND GARAGE UNTIL THE SEPTEMBER 27, 1995 COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (3) LaValle, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (2) Morelan, Pedersen. Resolution declared adopted. RICE STREET Michael Schroeder, Hoisington Koeqler Group, reported STUDY that this evening the plan is to review and comment on the Implementation Section of the Rice Street/Little Canada Road Development Guide. Once these comments are received, a final draft can be put together for review at the workshop planned for September 27th. Fahey pointed out the comments the City Planner has made on the Development Guide, and asked that these be addressed by the consultants. Schroeder replied that he has not received a copy of those comments, but once he does they will be addressed. The first implementation step reviewed is ~~Promote the redevelopment of Market Place". It was noted that one of the action steps for this implementation strategy is to work toward the relocation of Market Drive. Morelan asked if there was open land available to do this. 7
