MINUTES OF THE REGUI,AR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 1995 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 27th day of September, 1995 <br />in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael Fahey chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 7:45 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Cable TV Prod. Mr. Bill Bruce <br />Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />RICE STREET/ Fahey pointed out that the Council held a workshop <br />LITTLE CANADA prior to this evening's meeting to discuss <br />ROAD implementation issues relating to the Rice Street/ <br />DEVELOPMENT Little Canada Road Development Guide. Since <br />GUIDE the discussion was not completed at the workshop, it <br />will continue into the regular meeting. <br />Fahey reported that the Council had been discussing the <br />City Planner's proposal for developing architectural <br />design guidelines for the redevelopment area. Cost of <br />those services is estimated at $4,295. <br />The Council also reviewed a Statement of Understanding <br />between the City and Mr. Grootwassink regarding the <br />purchase and renovation of the Market Place Shopping <br />Center. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-9-216 - APPROVING THE MARKET PLACE <br />STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY AND MR. BOB <br />GROOTWASSINK AS AMENDED AT THE SEPTEMBER 27, 1995 <br />COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />1 <br />
