MINUTES OF THE REGIII~AR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA NOVEHIBER 22, 1995 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of November, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael Fahey chaired and called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. City Attorney City Engineer Cable TV Prod. Admin. Asst. MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the follc moved its adoption: Mr. Joel Hanson Mr. Tom Sweeney Mr. Jerry Bourdon Ms. Jane Boog Mrs. Kathy Glanzer wing resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 95-11-265 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF TI3E NOVEMBER 8, 1995 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 8, 1995 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mayor Fahey reported that a number of letters have been received at City Hall from residents of The Mayfield Apartments expressing concern about the departure of Rainbow Foods from The Market Place Shopping Center. Fahey stated that he wanted to emphasize that there will be both a grocery store and drug store at the shopping center in the foreseeable future. The exact timing on a grocery store moving back into the shopping center is dependent on the owner completing negotiations with tenants. This may take several months due to lease expiration issues with Rainbow, but it will be accomplished. 1
