MINi)TES
CITY COUNCIL
NOVENIBER 30, 1995
Blackford pointed out that Little Canada has been known
as having the highest property taxes.
The Administrator pointed out that the City is
approximately 15% of the tax bill. However, the tax
study cites the credit to the smallest jurisdiction.
The City's rate has been right in the middle compared
to other cities. The Administrator pointed out that
for 1996 the City and County are proposing very low
increases. However, the School District's share is up.
There were no other comments from the general public on
the proposed 1996 Budget.
Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the Truth
In Taxation hearing was closed.
The City Administrator reported that the City has
another budget workshop scheduled for December 18th at
7 P.M. at City Hall.
