Frattalone indicated that he was agreeable to giving a saw mill any wood which could be salvaged. However, pointed out that there is a lot of twisted trees which cannot be used. Fahey noted that any approvals should also be subject to compliance with the City's tree preservation ordinance. Frattalone was concerned with the requirement of a water source at the site during the burning, pointed out that the site will be 500 to 600 feet from anything. Fahey felt that notice to the Fire Department was very important. Fahey that some means of fire suppression equipment was needed on site, and felt what that means should be up to the Fire Chief. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 95-12-297 - APPROVING A BURNING PERMIT FOR MR. FRANK FRATTALONE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 3000 CENTERVILLE ROAD SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT AS OUTLINED IN HER LETTER DATED DECEMBER 15, 1995, INCLUDING THOSE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE DNR FOR SEPARATING OUT SALVAGEABLE WOOD PRIOR TO BURNING, AND WITH THE STIPULATION THAT TAE FIRE CHIEF RECOMMEND ON TI-IE ISSUE OF FIRE SUPPRESSION EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR THE SITE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Aye (5) LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. TAXICAB Fahey reported that City staff is recommending that the LICENSING City no longer license taxicabs. This licensing is an administrative burden on the City, as well as raises concerns regarding compliance with the ordinance and enforcement. Morelan pointed out the discussion the Council had at a budget workshop meeting. Morelan asked if there was any liability to the City in the licensing of taxicabs.
