MINUTES CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 20, 1995 which allows hiring of personnel by the City Administrator, the Administrator reported that he would be making an employment offer with acceptable salary parameters and subject to an employment agreement. The Administrator anticipated that the employment agreement would be presented to the Council for adoption at its next meeting. Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 95-12-304 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO PROCEED WITH AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THE POSITION OF PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR WITFi SAID OFFER BEING SUBJECT TO EXECUTION OF AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BEING ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE CITY AND NEW EMPLOYEE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. REFUSE/ RECYCLING Fahey reported that the City Administrator has ORDINANCE requested that action on amendments to the Refuse/Recycling Ordinance be tabled until the next Council meeting. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 95-12-305 - TABLING ACTION ON AMENDING THE REFUSE/RECYCLING ORDINANCE UNTIL THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. APPOINTMENT Council reviewed the four applications received for TO PARK & three vacancies on the Park & Recreation Commission. RECREATION It was noted that the application received from Larry COMMISSION Hartmann was received today, December 2oth, while the published deadline for application was December 7th. Morelan stated that while he realizes that Larry Hartmann is a current member of the Commission and is seeking reappointment, he felt it appropriate to honor the deadline. 22
