Resolution declared adopted. <br />APPOINTMENT The City received three applications for three <br />TO T}IE vacancies on the Planning Commission. <br />P7,~NNING <br />COMMISSION Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-12-309 - APPOINTING THE FOLLOWING TO <br />THREE YEAR TERMS ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION BEGINNING <br />JANUARY 1, 1996: <br />DANIEL KNUDSEN <br />FRED SCHLETTY <br />RICK MONTOUR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (o). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-12-310 - THANKING STEVE GARSKE FOR <br />HIS PAST INVOLVEMENT ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Fahey, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nay (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />1996 The City Administrator presented a quote from the <br />INSUR2INCE League of Minnesota Cities for insurance coverage <br />RENEWAL during 1996. The Administrator reported that a quote <br />was received from The St. Paul Companies in a lesser <br />amount. However, given the dividend paid by the League <br />of Minnesota Cities and past problems cities have <br />incurred in obtaining insurance, the Administrator <br />recommended that the quote of the League of Minnesota <br />Cities be accepted. The Administrator reported that <br />the quote does not include umbrella coverage given the <br />City's past position to stay within statutory limits of <br />liability. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />24 <br />
