MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECENIBER 20, 1995 <br />ordinance that would allow a good proprietor like <br />Janice Graczyk to provide massage in conjunction with <br />her hair salon, but still prevent the bad element from <br />coming into the City. <br />Morelan stated that apparently Roseville allows massage <br />in conjunction with beauty parlors. <br />Pedersen asked if there was massage provided at U.S. <br />Swim & Fitness. <br />The Administrator was not sure. <br />Fahey suggested that City staff look at some of these <br />issues. Fahey suggested that if there was a way to <br />allow therapeutic massage as an accessory use to a <br />business, he would be willing to look at it. However, <br />he would not support a stand-alone sauna or massage <br />parlor. Fahey suggested that staff contact surrounding <br />cities to determine how they address this situation. <br />CONSENT Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />AGENDA moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-12-295 - APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: <br />*APPROVING A TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE AND PARKING <br />PERMIT FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION~S <br />SOFTBALL-ON-ICE TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD JANUARY 20 AND <br />21, 1996j <br />*APPROVING THE EXEMPTION FROM LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMIT <br />FOR ST. JOHN~S CHURCH SNOW GO DINNER TO BE fiELD ON <br />FEBRUARY 10, 1996; <br />*APPROVING THE REQUEST FOR LEAVE OF ABSENCE MADE BY <br />BEVERLY JESPERSEN; <br />*APPROVING THE 1996 SHERIFF'S CONTRACT; <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
