MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JIiNiJARY 10, 1996
LaValle felt Scalze should be the City's representative
since she was so interested in this subject and would
do a great job.
SUPERAMERICA The City Attorney reviewed the January lOth letter from
LITIGATION the Supreme Court denying the SuperAmerica petition for
additional review. The Attorney indicated that it
appears the matter is finally determined and all courts
have upheld the decision made by the City Council.
Morelan asked if there was any additional action which
SuperAmerica could take. The Attorney replied that
there was none that he was aware of.
Fahey asked if there was any role the City might play
in getting the corner developed.
The City Administrator pointed out that the property
might be located within a redevelopment district, but
not a TIF District.
Morelan pointed out that the owner of the property has
been waiting resolution of the SuperAmerica issue
before making any final plans for the property.
Pedersen suggested that at this point in time the City
let the market determine the issue.
ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 96-1-20 - ADJOURNING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze.
Nays (0).
