MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA April 23, 2025 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 23' day of April 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL; Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, and Miller. Absent: Council Member Gutierrez. ALSO PRESENT: Acting City Administrator Laura Linehan, Parks and Recreation Director Steve Anderson, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2025-4-62 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE APRIL 9, 2025, WORKSHOP AND THE APRIL 9, 2025, REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNOUNCEMENTS The Acting City Administrator reminded residents of the activities occurring for National Volunteer Week and highlighted the two events still to come. Residents can register for the 5K Sap Run, more information can be found on the city website. The Senior Sip and Social will take place on Friday morning with card games, coffee, and company. PUBLIC COMMENT None. CONSENT AGENDA Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2 025-4-63 —APPROVING THE CONSENT A GENDA, WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING.- * Approval of the Vouchers • Approve the Hire of Kade Paulson as Building Official • Approve the Hire of Mindy Fiester as Fire Inspector Accept 2025 Quarter 1 Financial Report The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Miller. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
