MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 28, 1996 <br />CITY SURVEY Morelan noted that action plans were developed for the <br />RESULTS top three priorities, but pointed out there may be <br />other issues which came out of the session which would <br />not be time-consuming to implement. <br />Morelan further suggested City survey results be <br />reviewed question by question to determine if there are <br />any action items which should be addressed. <br />Fahey agreed the survey should be looked at again. <br />Fahey also pointed out the top concern was public <br />safety, and taxpayers indicated a willingness to spend <br />additional tax dollars to improve public safety. <br />Scalze indicated this is the only area for which <br />taxpayers indicated they would support higher taxes. <br />Fahey suggested the Council look to staff to provide a <br />recommendation on action steps which could be taken to <br />implement improvements based on survey results. <br />The Administrator reported that staff has been doing <br />this somewhat informally, and suggested it would be <br />good to formalize the process and report back to the <br />Council. <br />Fahey suggested that staff report back to the Council <br />within 90 days. <br />LAKE OWASSO The Administrative Assistant reported that Lake Owasso <br />DoNATION Residence Volunteer Council donated $3,500 for the <br />purchase of a heart defibrillator to be used by the <br />Sheriff's Department Little Canada patrol car as the <br />first responder in medical emergencies. The Council <br />thanked Lake Owasso on behalf of Little Canada <br />residents for their generosity. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-2-56 - ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0).
