L'Allier felt that the $14,000 estimate to connect <br />to the water main at the edge of his property was too <br />high. <br />The City Administrator again indicated the cap for a <br />water main assessment has been set at $4,400 in 1994, <br />with that amount adjusted each year by the CPI. <br />L~Allier felt the City was forcinq the water main issue <br />because he wanted to do something with his property. <br />L~Allier asked why a Waiver was required and suggested <br />the matter be handled by ordinance. <br />Morelan pointed out the City is trying to work with <br />L'Allier, and to strictly follow the letter of the <br />policy, the City should require water main be extended <br />5 <br />
