MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCA 13, 1996 <br />Morelan suggested before the property is returned to <br />the State, the City should make certain it has no <br />future use as park land. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-3-64 - ASKING TI-IE PARK & RECREATION <br />COMMISSION TO TAKE ANOTHER LOOK AT THE LAKE STREET <br />PROPERTY AND PROVIDE THE COUNCIL WITH A RECOMMENDATION <br />ON THE POSSIBLE USE OF THE SITE AS PARK LAND <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PERSONNEL The City Administrator reviewed for the Council <br />POLICY proposed amendments to the City's Personnel Policy. <br />The Administrator pointed out these amendments are <br />housekeeping items, most of which clarify <br />interpretation of the Policy. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 96-3-65 - ADOPTING THE AMENDMENTS TO THE <br />PERSONNEL POLICY AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF INCLUDING <br />THE DELETION OF THE SECOND PARAGRAPH ON PAGE 13 <br />REGARDING PAYMENT OF THE PARK & RECREATION ASSISTANT <br />DIRECTOR AND PROGRAM DIRECTOR ON A MONTHLY BASIS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Morelan, LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />THE LaValle reported he will be unable to attend the <br />PROVINCES March 27th Council meeting, and requested the matter of <br />the fire suppression system at The Provinces be tabled <br />until the April 10th meetinq when he can be present. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 96-3-66 - TABLING ACTION ON THE FIRE <br />SUPPRESSION SYSTEM AT THE PROVINCES UNTIL THE APRIL 10, <br />1996 CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0).
