MINU'PES CITY COIJNCIL APRIL 24, 1996 PLANNING COMMISSION AND BASED ON TIiE REASONS OUTLINED IN THE PRECEDING COUNCIL DISCUSSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 96-4-95 - REFERRING THE ISSUE OF AMOUNT OF ACCESSORY BUILDING SPACE IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY PLANNER IN VIEW OF TONIGHT~S DISCUSSION AND THE INCONSISTENCY IN THE PLANNER'S REPORT INDICATING THAT ACCESSORY SPACE IS NOT ADDED TO EXISTING GARAGE SPACE IN CONSIDERING THE 1,000 SQUARE FOOT CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUIREMENT, AND REQUESTING A RECOMMENDATION ON WHETHER OR NOT THE EXISTING ORDINANCE SHOULD BE MODIFIED IN THIS REGARD The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) Fahey, Morelan, 5calze, LaValle, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CUP FOR Fahey opened the Public Aearing to consider the ACCESSORY application made by Mr. David Regnier for a Conditional BUILDING- Use Permit for accessory space at his property located 2947 at 294'7 Centerville Road. Fahey noted that the CENTERVILLE Planning Commission tabled action on this matter since ROAD Mr. Regnier was not at the meeting to answer their questions. The Council informed Mr. Regnier that the Planning Commission will consider his application at their May 9th meeting. Regnier indicated that he would attend. Fahey recommended that the City Planner have a recommendation on the issue of Conditional Use Permits for accessory space for the Planning Commission's consideration on May 9th.
