MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 22, 1996 this trail easement. Mark Ashby, Stoneridge Addition developer, noted that the path would be 6 feet wide by 146 feet long, and he was agreeable to paving it. Scalze asked about the pond area located between Lots 3 and 4. Ken Gust, engineer for the developer, reported that this pond will collect water from the street. The proper depth of the pond area must still be determined. The pond must be deep enough to provide treatment for the run-off, but not too deep to pose a danger. Ashby reported that he has had some discussions with the property owner on County Road D abutting the east side of the proposed street. Ashby informed the property owner he would put in a curb cut and a cement apron for their driveway if the County requires them to access their property via the new street. Ashby reported that he will comply with the requirements of the County on the curb cut issue. There ~~as no one from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 96-5-118 - APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF THE STONERIDGE ADDITION AS SUBMITTED SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY ENGINEER AS OUTLINED IN HIS MEMO DATED MAY 16, 1996, SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS OUTLINED IN HIS REPORT DATED FEBRUARY 6, 1996, AND SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION AS TO PARK CHARGE AND PAVING OF THE 6-FOOT WIDE PATH TO BE LOCATED BETWEEN LOTS 5 AND 6 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Scalze asked about the variance for the street width. The Planner replied that the variance is another action which can be addressed at the time of Final Plat approval. 4
