MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 22, 1996 <br />DATE meeting date. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 96-5-121 - CHANGING THE JUNE 12, 1996 <br />REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING DATE TO MONDAY~ JUNE 10, 1996 <br />AT 7:00 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMENDMENT The City Attorney presented a proposed amendment to the <br />TO LIQUOR City's liquor ordinance which incorporates some recent <br />ORDINANCE State Law changes. These involve changing reference <br />from non-intoxicating malt liquor to 3.2 percent malt <br />liquor as well as amending the number of days for which <br />temporary liquor licenses can be issued and limitinq <br />the number of licenses within a 30-day period for any <br />one given organization. <br />Fahey :;uggested that those organizations which <br />typically request temporary liquor licenses be advised <br />of the change in State Law. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved .its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 435 - AMENDING CHAPTERS 701 THROUGH 704 <br />OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO NON- <br />INTOXICATING AND INTOXICATING LIQUOR WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Ordinance declared adopted. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-5-122 - PROVIDING FOR TAE PUBLICATION <br />OF THE TITLE AND SUMMARY OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CI-IAPTEFt5 701 THROUGH 704 OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE RELATING TO NON-INTOXICATING AND INTOXICATING <br />LIQUOR WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0).
