MIN~PES OF TAE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA JUI,Y 24, 1996 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of July, 1996 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the followinq members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Council Member Mr. Council Member Mr. Council Member Mr. Council Member Mrs. City Admin. Mr. City Attorney Mr. City Planner Mr. Cable TV Prod. Mr. Admin. Asst. Mrs. Michael I. Fahey Bob Pedersen Jim LaValle Steve Morelan Beverly Scalze Joel Aanson Tom Sweeney Steve Grittman Greg Schroeder Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved i.ts adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 96-7-170 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JULY 1, 1996 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE JULY 10, 1996 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CONDITIONAL Fahey opened the continuation of public hearing USE PERMIT- to consider the application by MBC Enterprises for a EXPANDED Conditional Use Permit to expand shared parking PARKING facilities. Both the Planning Commission and the FACILITIES- City Pianner have recommended approval. Fahey noted MBC that at the June 26th City Council, concern was raised ENTERPRISES that Quicksilver Courier Service was operating a truck terminal from this location. The City Planner visited the site and submitted a report indicating that a truck terminal is not being operated and the Quicksilver business meets the intent of the B-3 Zoning District. 1
