MIN~PES OF TAE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUI,Y 24, 1996 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of July, <br />1996 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located <br />at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the followinq members of the City Council <br />were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mr. <br />Council Member Mrs. <br />City Admin. Mr. <br />City Attorney Mr. <br />City Planner Mr. <br />Cable TV Prod. Mr. <br />Admin. Asst. Mrs. <br />Michael I. Fahey <br />Bob Pedersen <br />Jim LaValle <br />Steve Morelan <br />Beverly Scalze <br />Joel Aanson <br />Tom Sweeney <br />Steve Grittman <br />Greg Schroeder <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />moved i.ts adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 96-7-170 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />JULY 1, 1996 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE JULY 10, <br />1996 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONDITIONAL Fahey opened the continuation of public hearing <br />USE PERMIT- to consider the application by MBC Enterprises for a <br />EXPANDED Conditional Use Permit to expand shared parking <br />PARKING facilities. Both the Planning Commission and the <br />FACILITIES- City Pianner have recommended approval. Fahey noted <br />MBC that at the June 26th City Council, concern was raised <br />ENTERPRISES that Quicksilver Courier Service was operating a truck <br />terminal from this location. The City Planner visited <br />the site and submitted a report indicating that a truck <br />terminal is not being operated and the Quicksilver <br />business meets the intent of the B-3 Zoning District. <br />1 <br />
