MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUI~Y 24, 1996 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-7-181 - AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED <br />WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO-SIDED, CITY CENTER <br />IDENTIFICATION SIGN TO BE LOCATED AS OUTLINED IN OPTION <br />TWO, AND INSTRUCTING STAFF TO WORK WITH THE PARK <br />CONSULTANT ON THE ADDITION OF "CITY CENTER" LETTERING <br />ON THE SIGN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (1) Morelan. Resolution declared adopted. <br />JACKSON/ Morelan asked if the Jackson/Old County Road C/ <br />OLD COUNTY Lakeshore improvement project is now complete. The <br />ROAD C/ City Administrator reported that punch list items <br />LAKESHORE have not been fully completed. <br />SHERIFF'S Pedersen suggested the Council schedule a meeting <br />DEPARTMENT with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department. Pedersen <br /> stated that he would like an update on crime prevention <br /> activities, specifically in the rental housing areas of <br /> the City, as well as any information on ganqs, etc. the <br /> Department can provide. <br /> The City Administrator stated that he has the Sheriff's <br /> Department scheduled to report at the August 14th <br /> Council meeting <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br /> moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-7-182 - ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Fahey, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
