MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 14, 1996 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-8-189 - APPROVING TAE DELONAIS OPTION <br />AGREEMENT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE <br />TIiE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LITTLE The City Administrator recommended the Council <br />CANADA ROAD call for two neighborhood meetings to discuss Little <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY Canada Road right-of-way issues with the property <br />ISSUE owners involved. The section of Little Canada Road to <br />be discussed lies between the railroad tracks on the <br />west and County Road C on the east as well as the area <br />abutting Round Lake. The Administrator reported that <br />Ramsey County will discuss the right-of-way issues <br />while Michael Schroeder will explain streetscape <br />designs. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NQ. 96-8-190 - CALLING TWO NEIGHBORHOOD <br />MEETINGS FOR TUESDAY, AUGUST 27, 1996 TO BE HELD AT THE <br />CITY CENTER~ THE FIRST TO BEGIN AT 6:00 P.M. TO DISCUSS <br />LITTLE CANADA ROAD AND ALL COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES FROM <br />THE RAILROAD TRACKS TO COUNTY ROAD C, THE SECOND TO <br />BEGIN AT 8:00 P.M. TO DISCUSS LITTLE CANADA ROAD WITH <br />THE PROPERTY OWNERS ABUTTING ROUND LAKE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CITY CENTER Council reviewed the lettering options for the <br />IDENTIFICATION City Center identification sign as outlined by the <br />SIGN City Administrator. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-8-191 - APPROVING CITY CENTER <br />IDENTIFICATION SIGN OPTION #2 WITH THE LETTERING SIZE, <br />SPACING, AND ADDRESS AS SHOWN ON OPTION #4 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
