MIN~PES OF THE REGi7I~AR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA AUGUST 28, 1996 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of August, 1996 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman Cable TV Prod. Mr. Greg Schroeder Admin. Asst. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer ANNOUNCEMENTS Mayor Fahey announced a donation of approximately $87,000 by Little Canada Charity Plus for a computer center to be located at Little Canada Elementary School. Fahey reported that the center is available for use by Little Canada and Roseville School District residents. Fahey thanked Little Canada Charity Plus for this very generous donation. FINAL PLAT Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider & VARIANCE approval of a final plat for the Stoneridge Addition, FOR STREET a single-family home development consisting of nine WIDTH - lots as well as a variance for road right-of-way of STONERIDGE one foot at the intersection of Stoneridge Court and ADDITION County Road D. Fahey reported that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the final plat and variance subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. 1
