NO. 94-3~ <br />*APPROVAL OF CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE LOCAL <br />HOUSING INCENTIVES ACCOUNT PROGRAM UNDER THE <br />METROPOLITAN LIVABLE COMMUNITIES ACT; <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle <br />Ayes (5) Pedersen, LaValle, Fahey, Morelan, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MINUTES Morelan reported that the August 14th Council meeting <br />minutes should be corrected to show that Mayor Fahey <br />was appointed to the committee to meet with property <br />owners in the Rice Street/Little Canada Road area <br />rather than himself. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-8-203 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />AUGUST 14, 1996 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES AS <br />CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (O). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECES5 At this point in the meeting, 8:50 P.M., Council took a <br />short recess. The meeting was reconvened at 9:00 P.M. <br />ORDINANCES The City Attorney reported both the Zoning and <br />REGULATING Municipal Codes prohibit the parking of unlicensed <br />UNLICENSED vehicles on private property. However, Municipal Code <br />VEHICLES does not find these vehicles to be a nuisance until six <br />months have lapsed. Therefore, the Attorney presented <br />a proposed ordinance which would make unlicensed <br />vehicles a nuisance. This ordinance would make the <br />Municipal Code consistent with the Zoning Code.
