MINUTES OE THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 23, 1996 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of October, <br />1996 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located <br />at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey <br />Bob Pedersen <br />Jim LaValle (left <br />at 8:35 P.M.) <br />Beverly Scalze <br />Steve Morelan <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Mr. Scott Richards <br />Mr. Greg Schroeder <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />wing resolution and <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-10-259 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />OCTOBER 9, 1996 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LITTLE Dick Boss, Chief of the Little Canada Fire Department, <br />CANADA FIRE appeared before the Council to report the Fire <br />DEPARTMENT Department's plans for a donation to both the Spooner <br />DONATIONS Park picnic shelter and the Historical Society <br /> Addition. Boss reported the history of the Fire <br /> Department's fund-raising efforts over the past 51 <br /> years of its existence, as well as the capital <br /> improvements which have become a reality because of <br /> these fund-raising efforts. Boss announced that the <br /> Little Canada Fire Department unanimously agreed to <br /> contribute its charitable gambling profits from its two <br /> pull-tab sites for the month of December to be divided <br /> equally between these two projects.
