MINUTES
CZTY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 27~ 1996
CLOSED
3ESSION
case-by-case basis.
Fahey felt the Council had a lot of higher priorities
at this point.
Morelan suggested the Council and City Planner read
through the Code and think about the issue. The matter
can be brought up for additional discussion at a future
meeting.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 96-11-294 - TEMPORARILY ADJOURNING INTO
CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS PENDING LITIGATION
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, Morelan.
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
At this point in the meeting, 8:42 P.M., Council
temporarily adjourned into closed session. The Council
reconvened the regular meeting at 8:53 P.M.
Fahey reported that at the closed session the Council
discussed a recommendation made by the City
Administrator that the Council call a public hearing to
consider an ordinance amendment which would allow the
City to regulate mobilehome parks as non-conforming
uses. This would allow for the continuation of the
non-conforming use, and allow the City to require
mobilehome parks to comply with State requirements for
these parks, and allow City staff to issue building
permits.
The City Administrator recommended that the matter be
referred to the Planning Commission for a
recommendation and that the Council consider the matter
at its December 18th meeting.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 96-11-295 - CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 1996, 7:30 P.M.
