MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 18~ 1996 <br />*CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE <br />REASSESSMENT OF THE MCDONOUGH PROPERTY FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />NO. 93-13: <br />*CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER TAE VACATION <br />OF ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY OVER THE ENGEBRETSON PROPERTY ON <br />OLD COUNTY ROAD C~ <br />*APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT REAPPORTIONMENT FOR THE <br />SCHMIT/RYAN PROPERTY DIVISION; <br />*ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING TAE MORATORIUM ON TAE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF TELEVISION, RADIO, OR TELEPHONE <br />TRANSMISSION OR RECEIVING FACILITIES IN ALL ZONING <br />DISTRICTS; <br />*APPROVING THE RICHARD AQUIRRE DEFERRED ASSESSMENT PAY- <br />OFF AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR; <br />*ACCEPTING THE RETIREMENT NOTICE SUBMITTED BY BEVERLY <br />JESPERSEN; <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ROUND LARE The City Administrator requested authorization to make <br />PROPERTY offers to purchase certain Round Lake properties using <br />ACQUISITION the asking prices if supported by our appraisal or the <br />appraisal itself if lower than the asking price. <br />Morelan asked the funding source for these purchases. <br />The City Administrator replied that the funding source <br />has not been identified at this time. The Parks & <br />Recreation Commission will be discussing this matter at <br />their January meeting. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-12-313 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO MAKE OFFERS TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ROUND <br />LAKE PROPERTIES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0).
