MINUTE3 <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 18~ 1996 <br />PLANNING Council reviewed the applications received from Scott <br />COMMISSION Barraclough, John Keis, and Gary Rheaume for the two <br />APPOINTMENT vacancies on the Planning Commission commencing January <br />1, 1997 through December 31, 1999. It was noted that <br />Barraclough and Keis are just completing terms on the <br />Commission. By ballot of the Council, Barraclough and <br />Keis were reappointed to Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-12-314 - APPOINTING SCOTT BARRACLOUGH <br />AND JOHN KEIS TO THREE YEAR TERMS ON THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1997 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PARRB & Council reviewed the applications received from Muriel <br />RECREATION Bianchi, Pete DiFranco, James Greger, Terry Reeves, and <br />COMMISSION Gary Rheaume for three vacancies on the Parks & <br />APPOINTMENT Recreation Commission. It was noted that two of the <br />vacancies are for three-year terms, and the other is <br />for a two-year term. By ballot of the Council, Bianchi <br />and DiFranco were appointed to fill the three-year <br />terms on the Commission, while Rheaume was appointed to <br />fill the two-year term. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-12-315 - APPOINTING MURIAL BIANCHI <br />AND PETE DIFRANCO TO THREE YEAR TERMS ON THE PARKS & <br />RECREATION COMMISSION, AND GARY RAEAUME TO A TWO YEAR <br />TERM ON THE COMMISSION EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1997 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TOWER The City Administrator recommended that the Council <br />MORATORIUM call for a workshop meeting to discuss the issue of <br />construction of television, radio, or telephone <br />transmission or receiving facilities. He also <br />commented that even though the moratorium was extended <br />until May 1, 1997, we should act as quickly as possible <br />on this matter. <br />17 <br />
