MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 8, 1997 <br />ELECTION Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and <br />OF OFFICERS moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-1-1 - ELECTING THE FOLLOWING SLATE OF <br />OFFICERS FOR 1997 FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY: <br />PRESIDENT - MICAAEL I. FAHEY <br />VICE PRESIDENT - BEVERLY SCALZE <br />TREASURER - STEVE MORELAN <br />SECRETARY - JOEL HANSON <br />ASSISTANT TREASURER - JOEL HANSON <br />DIRECTOR - JIM LAVALLE <br />DIRECTOR - BOB PEDERSEN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Fahey, Morelan, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADOPTION OF Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and <br />BUDGET moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-1-2 - ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING 1997 <br />BUDGET FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: <br />REVENUES $ 0 <br />EXPENDITURES 0 <br />TOTAL $ 0 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CITY At this point in the meeting, the Economic Development <br />COUNCIL Authority reconvened as the City Council. <br />PUBLIC Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the <br />HEARING - vacation of road right-of-way easement for a portion <br />VACATION of East Rose Place which was dedicated in the early <br />OF ROAD 1970's. Due to an error in the legal description, the <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY right-of-way runs through the property located at 154 <br />EASEMENT East County Road C. The City has obtained a corrected <br />easement for this portion of East Rose Place. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by LaValle, the public <br />2 <br />
