MINUT~S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 2G, 1997 <br />The foregoing reso(ution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (3) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />VALL~Y PAVING The City Administrator reported that the mediation process has <br />PAY REQUESTS be~un with Valley Paving. Part of this process included a meeting to be <br />held today with Valley Paving to address some pay requests which Valley <br />Pavin~ is claiming the City did not process. Due to the fact that the City <br />En~ineer needed additional time to research these requests, the meeting <br />has been postponed. <br />The Administrator requested that the Council authorize the payment of <br />any additional pay requests which staffdetermines should have been <br />honored. The Administrator reported that he will then present this <br />information to the Council at its next meeting. The AdministraYor <br />indicated that he would like to resolve the pay request issue prior to the <br />next mediation session. <br />Ivlr. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Morelan asked what work these pay requests may be for. The <br />Administrator reported that one pay request mentioned by Valley was for <br />a fiber material installed around a ponding 1rea. The City Engineer's <br />office is currently reviewing the matter. <br />52 EAST LITTL~ Mr. Todd Hagen, 52 East Little Canada Road, reported that he and <br />CANADA ROAD his wife would very much like to sell their property to the City given the <br />City's intention of designating the north side of Round Lake as open <br />space. Hagen reported that they are willing to sell their property to the <br />City for $3,000 less than its appraised value. <br />
