Resolution declared adopted. <br />SOD VERSUS The City Administrator reported that the majority of residents involved <br />SEED in the Arcade Street improvement support sod versus seed as part of the <br />restoration process. The City ofMaplewood l~as indicated that they will <br />restore their portion of the improvement with sod. The City Administrator <br />reported Yhat the City Engineer is somewhat nervous about the <br />establishment of seed. Plans for watering dw~ing critical periods are being <br />prepared. The Administrator pointed out that sod was used as part of past <br />projects, and sod has died due to lack of proper care. Estimated cost <br />savings is $20,242.50. <br />Nlrs. Resolution declared adopted. <br />PLASTIC PIPE The City Administrator reported that the City Engineer is recommending <br />VERSUS RCP that Alternative No. 1 be approved as part of the Arcade Street <br />improvement project. This involves replacin~ concrete pipe with plastic <br />pipe for the storm sewer portion of the improvement.
