Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONDITIONAL Mayor Scalze opened the public l~earing to consider the request for <br />USE P~RMIT - Conditional Use Permit made by Mr. Joe Pajari to move an existing <br />HOUSE house onto the sinale-family lot located 1t 14't Yorl<ton Ridge. <br />R~LOCATION - The Plauniug Commission has recommended approval of the Conditional <br />141 YOI2KTON Use Pennit subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City <br />RIDGE Plaimer as outlined in his report dated May 5, 1997 and subject to <br />construction of a three-car gara~e on the front of the house, a turned gable <br />roof over the third gara~e b1y, and installation of bricl< wainscoting on the <br />fi~ont of the house. <br />Mr. P~jari ~ppeared before tl~e Council and reported that the ~3uilding <br />I~~spector h1s inspected the house and has recommended some minor <br />modificaYions to Yhe sYiucture. Pajari reported that at tl~e Plani~ing <br />Commission he had re~orted that I~e would be conve~ting the existing <br />tudo-under garage space to a flmily room and laundry room. He also <br />proposed either a two or three-car garage addition to the front of the <br />house. 'Pajari indicated that he would be willing to add the three-car <br />garage. Pajari also reported that he is pllnning for a wa(kout basement <br />and will install a earth berm in the front of the house under the lower level <br />wi»dows wrapping aro~md the left side of the house. Pajari indicated that <br />the exterior of the house will be covered in a smooth misonite siding with <br />1 brick veneer on the fi~ont of the garage and just under the base of the <br />fi•ont windows. <br />Morelan indicated his quesCion would be liow the house fits in the rest of <br />the neighborhood. Morelan felY thaY Pajari has demoustrated thaT the size <br />and value of the house is compar2ble with Che rest of the neigl~borhood. <br />However, this house is older in a~e than tl~e other homes. <br />Sca(ce pointed out th2t the City has received a letter from Dary] Nelson, <br />120 Yorldon Ridge, objecting to an older liouse being moved into the <br />neighborhood. <br />2 <br />
