MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 23, 1997 subject to the new Metropolitan Regional Blueprint Rules which were adopted last summer. As a result of this, there will be some changes to the City's updated Comp Plan. The Planner reported that there is grant money available to assist in the cost of bringing the Comp Plan into compliance, and he recommended that the Council approve an application for this grant money. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOl. UTION NO. 97-7-174 -AUTHORIZING APPI,ICATION FOR A METROPOI,ITAN COUNCIL PLANNING ASSISTANCE GRANT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE GRANT ON 73EHALF OF THE CITY The fore~oin~ resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (4) LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CENTERVILL~ Council reviewed the feasibility report submitted by the City Engineer ROAD WATER for the Centerville Road water main improvement. The City MAIN Administrator recommended that staff conduct a neighborhood FEASIBILiTY meeting to review the project with the affected property owners, and REPORT that the Council call for an improvement hearing.
