MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 289 2025 <br />Miller thanked Alex for his eight years of service, acknowledging that he is moving out of state. <br />Mayor Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-5-89 — APPROVING THE POSTING OF A PUBLIC WORKS <br />MAINTENANCE I POSITION IMMEDIA TEL Y <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Malone provided an update on the recent luncheon for the Northeast Youth and Family Services, <br />which was well attended, noting that over $67,000 was raised. <br />Miller commented that he attended the luncheon, and his employer matched his donation. <br />Gutierrez provided an update on the recent long-range fire planning meeting she attended with Mayor <br />Fischer. <br />Kwapick commented on the most recent school board meeting he and others attended. <br />Mayor Fischer stated that following this meeting, the Council will reconvene as the Economic <br />Development Authority in closed session to consider an offer received to purchase an EDA-owned <br />property. <br />ADJOURN <br />There being no further business, upon motion by Miller, seconded by Kwapick, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 8:36 p.m. <br />/0 <br />AV <br />Thomas Fischer, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br />Con <br />
