<br />Prior to his work with Bolton & Menk, Mr. Shearen served as the City of Little Canada’s Parks and <br />Recreation/Community Services Director. Under his leadership, several capital improvement and park <br />infrastructure projects were completed and expanded. He has a proven track record in the <br />implementation of both the City of Little Canada Parks and Recreation Master Plan and the Strategic <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Bryce has his Master of Public Administration from Hamline University and is a Certified Parks & <br />Recreation Executive (CPRE). <br /> <br />Dr. Fursman negotiated a contract with Mr. Shearen that allows for a salary at Step 5 of the Grade 15 <br />wage scale. Other benefits are outlined in the attached City Administrator Employment Agreement <br />(Attachment A) between the City of Little Canada and Bryce Shearen. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is recommending that the City Council approve the City Administrator Employment Agreement <br />with Bryce Shearen, with a selected wage scale as outlined above. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Attachment A: City Administrator Employment Agreement <br /> <br /> <br />
