MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 22, 1997 <br />PROGRAM Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. UTION NO. 97-IO-264 - REQUESTING THE I,EAGUE OF <br />MINNESOTA CITIES INSURANCE TRUST TO ACCEPT <br />PARTICIPATION OF THE LITTI.E CANADA FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />IN ITS INSUR,9NCE TRU.ST PROGRAM <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Pedersen, Scalze, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LIVABLE The City Administrator reported that tomorrow evening the City would be <br />COMMUNITIES makin~ a presentation on its application for a$1 million grant under the <br />GRANT Livable Communities Grant Program. There are 22 applications for grant <br />PROGRAM monies and the competition will be very stiff. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI.UTIONNO. 97-ZO-265 -AD.IOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. <br />Nays (0).
