The Planning Commission recommended in favor
DEPARTMENT of the rezoning.
PROPERTY
Frank Frattalone, purchaser of the Spruce Street site owned by the Water
Department, indicated that he was in favor of the rezonin~ to Planned Unit
Development.
It was pointed out that the rezoning is proposed for both the Spruce Street
site and the Rice Street site owned by the Water Department. The City
Planner noted that previous discussions by the City Council in considering
the Comp Plan amendment indicated that PUD zonin~ would be
appropriate.
Bill Tschida, St. Paul Water Department, indicated that they had no
objection to the rezoning of both sites to PUD.
The Planner pointed out that a PUD zoning would open the property to
uses beyond B-3.
