MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA OCTOBER 29, 1997 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 29'~' day of October, 1997 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meetin~ to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COiJNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Hanson City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney City Engineer Mr. Paul Heuer Deputy Clerk Mrs. Kathy Glanzer ARCADE Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the assessment of costs STREET associated with the improvement of Arcade Street from the north line IMP. - of Keller Parkway to the south line of County Road D by street ASSESSMENT reconstruction including concrete curb and gutter and storm drainage HEARING improvements and incidental water and sanitary sewer services as well as water main on the portion of Arcade Street between Keller Parkway and LaBore Road. The City Engineer began with an overview of the work that was performed, pointed out that there are actually three components to the project. The first was the reconstruction of Arcade Street and the installation of water main. The second component was the improvement of Ditch 7A, and the third was the replacement of culverts under Westwind and Windrow. With regard to the street reconstruction, the City ~ngineer reported that the grade of Arcade Street was lowered as much as possible in most areas to get drainage into the street.
