Resolution declared adopted. <br />OFF-SALE The City Attorney reported that the Appellate Court in Faribault has <br />LIQUOR rules that off-sale liquor sales can only be precluded on Christmas Day <br />SALES and Thanksgiving Day. The Attorney pointed out that the City's <br />ordinance precludes off-sale liquor stores from being open on New Year's <br />Day. The Attorney asked for Council direction in this matter. Some of <br />the options would be that the City wait and see if this decision is appealed, <br />either enforcing or not enforcing its ordinance in the meantime, or the City <br />could amend its ordinance to allow off-sale liquor stores to be open on <br />
