There
was an additional option with HueLife to provide onboarding services, and she reviewed the tasks
included in the proposal. She commented that this would be an unbudgeted item, but there are funds
available and recommended approval of the $2,000 expense as proposed.
Mayor Fischer commented that he believes this is a great idea, recognizing that while Administrator
Shearen would not be new to the city, he would be new to the role.
Miller agreed that this will help to set Mr. Shearen up to better understand the expectations and
direction of the City Council. He stated that this should also help to better define the roles of City
Administrator and Assistant City Administrator, recognizing that Ms. Linehan was only in the role for
about one week before stepping in to be the Interim Administrator.
Malone asked for more information on the online survey and report. The Acting City Administrator
provided additional information on how the survey would be used and how the results would be
provided and reviewed with the new City Administrator.
Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTIONNO. 2025-6-92 —APPROVING ANADDITIONAL UNBUDGETED $2,000
FOR CITYADMINISTRA TOR ONBOARDING SERVICES WITH HUELIFE
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez.
Ayes (5).
