MINUTES CITY COUNCIL DEC~MBER 17, 1997 premature for the Council to debate this proposal this evening without the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Those present were informed that the next Plannin~ Commission meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 8`~', at 7:30 P.M., and this matter will be scheduled for that agenda. If the Plannin~ Commission makes a recommendation, the matter will then be referred to the CiYy Council for action at their January 28`~' meeting. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 97-12-300 - CONTINUING THE PUI3LIC HEARING ON THE GII ANDERI ADDITION PREI IMINARY PLAT UNTIL THE JANDARY 28, 1998 CITY COUNCII. MEETING The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANTENNA/ The Mayor opened the Public Hearing to consider a text amendment to TOWER the Zoning Code as it relates to height limitations for antennae and towers ORDINANCE - within the City. The Plannin~ Commission has recommended approval of HEIGHT the text amendment. LIMITATIONS The City Administrator reported that the text amendment involves a clarification of the original chart in the ordinance which shows the heights allowed for antennae and towers in the City's various zoning districts. The Administrator indicated that the revised chart makes the ordinance easier to interpret. There was no one from the ~eneral public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed.
